DPTS uses the “Object Telephony Server” (OTS) from Calltrol
Corporation. The OTS product provides a LAN based Telephony server
for performing call center activities. The server exists as a PC based
server connected to the LAN, and communicates with the Call Center
Supervisor and Agents via a TCP/IP network connection. The Telephony
Server is available in configurations starting from 8 lines/4 agents
up to 300lines/150 agents. The system can be upgraded in the field
in 24 line increments with T1 based systems and 8 line increments
for analog systems. Call Center operations requiring more than 150
agents can be realized with multiple Telephony Servers. Multiple Telephony
servers are fully supported and managed by DPTS Enterprise software
with a single Call Center Supervisor application.
